1. You cannot blame the players for the shirts because they were simply handed to them. Nike made the surprise shirts for them. So blame Nike.
2. The racist comments were made by some of the ignorant fans. It has nothing to do with the team. After the game, Megan Rapinoe switched jerseys with a fellow Japan WNT player and congratulated one another. Abby on the other hand comforted Sawa. These players are good people.
